1.Overview
Here's how billing works on https://minecraftsgame.com/ — how your balance and any recurring purchases are handled, and what to do if a charge looks wrong before you go to your bank about it. Buying a Digital Item, topping up your balance, or making any other purchase on the Website means you're agreeing to what follows. Read it alongside our Terms and Conditions, especially Sections 13, 14, and 17.
Purchases run through EUR (€) unless checkout says otherwise. We take Visa and Mastercard, processed securely by our payment provider, FINTECH GLOBAL SOFTWARE LTD, under PCI-DSS. Everything's tokenized; Dexervil LTD never sees or stores your full card number.
2.Billing and Your Balance, Explained
You can buy a Digital Item directly for a chosen Server, or top up a balance first and spend it as you go — including on recurring or subscription purchases (Section 4).
Top up your balance and the charge hits your payment method straight away, landing in your account balance the moment payment clears, in EUR or whatever currency you paid in. You'll see the balance in your Personal Cabinet, and it drops by the price of each Digital Item as you buy it.
Think of the balance as store credit, not money in a bank. It doesn't earn interest, can't be cashed out or swapped for cash, and can't move to another account or platform, except where the law says otherwise. It only buys Digital Items on this Website in line with the Minecraft Usage Guidelines covered in Section 17 of our Terms and Conditions.
3.What Happens to Your Balance If Your Account Closes
Close your account — whether that's you or us, under our Terms and Conditions — and any leftover balance goes one of two ways:
- closed because you breached the Terms? The remaining balance may be forfeited, subject to the law;
- closed for any other reason? You can ask for a refund of whatever's left, to your original payment method, once we've verified your identity and payment as described in Section 5;
- either way, ask within 90 days of closure — after that, we may treat it as forfeited unless the law says we can't.
4.Purchases, Cancelling, and Refunds
4.1 Individual purchases. Once a Digital Item lands in your Server account, that purchase is done — generally non-refundable, unless the law requires otherwise or we decide, at our discretion, that a refund makes sense (say, it never arrived, there was a delivery fault on our end, or you were charged the wrong amount). The full rundown of when refunds do and don't apply is in our Terms and Conditions.
4.2 Recurring and subscription purchases. Bought a privilege or rank on a recurring basis? Each charge counts as its own purchase and follows the same rules as 4.1. Cancel anytime, free, through your Personal Cabinet or by contacting us — details in Section 13 of the Terms and Conditions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the next billing date if you don't want to be charged again. Anything already delivered before you cancel stays yours.
4.3 Unused balance. Money sitting in your balance doesn't expire, though we may treat it as dormant after 90 days of inactivity — we'll reach out before touching anything, as the law requires. Outside of account closure (Section 3) or a legal requirement, unused balance isn't refundable.
4.4 Technical issues. Charged but the Digital Item never showed up because of a technical fault on our side? We'll credit it back to your balance or, if you'd rather and it's practical, refund your original payment method.
5.Getting Billing Support
Got a question about a charge? Talk to us before doing anything else, including a chargeback. Most issues — a Digital Item that didn't arrive, a charge you don't recognise, a recurring-purchase query — sort themselves out fast once we're actually looking at it together.
Email privacy@minecraftsgame.com with the following — the more you send upfront, the faster we can look into it:
- the email address on your account;
- roughly when the purchase happened;
- the amount and currency charged;
- which Digital Item and Server, if relevant;
- a screenshot or copy of the payment confirmation or bank statement line;
- a screenshot of your Personal Cabinet balance, if it's relevant.
6.How Fast We Respond
We aim to acknowledge billing and chargeback queries within 2 business days, and to have a resolution or decision within 10 business days of getting everything we asked for in Section 5.
7.Chargebacks
Try us first, through Section 5 — it's almost always quicker than going through your bank. That said, if a chargeback comes in for a charge that was properly authorised, where the Digital Item was actually delivered, or where we've already sorted things out under this Policy, we reserve the right to dispute it and to suspend or limit your account while it's being looked at.
8.Staying in Line with Minecraft Usage Guidelines
Mojang's Usage Guidelines shape how we run billing here. In practice that means: pricing and Digital Item details are published on the Website before you buy anything; you get an online purchase history for anything paid with real money, through your Personal Cabinet; and your balance, along with any crystals or other in-game currency, has no real-world value and can't be cashed out, redeemed, or moved off the Website or our Servers. None of this overrides Section 17 of our Terms and Conditions.
