Unsupported versions

Older clients cannot join because plugin APIs differ between major releases.

Check your version

Java: main menu bottom-left shows the version string. Bedrock: Settings → About.

Java Edition shows the version string on the main menu bottom-left. Bedrock lists the build under Settings → About. Match it against the supported list above.
